The Arizona Coyotes unveiled the new name and logo for the Club’s AHL affiliate, Tucson Roadrunners, at an Open House event on Saturday, June 18 at 12:30pm at the Tucson Convention Center. Jody Jackson from FOX Sports Arizona served as the emcee for the unveiling.  The event was open to the public and admission was free.  The Coyotes held a Select-A-Seat event by appointment only for depositors from 10am to 12:30pm and for the general public from 1-2pm.

Fans attending the Open House took a shot against an NHL goalie at the virtual slapshot experience, interact with Howler and members of the Paw Patrol, and kids 12 and under played ball hockey on the event floor.  This event allowed fans to secure Full Season Ticket Memberships for next season and select the best available seat locations for the 2016-17 AHL season at the Tucson Arena.

On May 17, the Coyotes launched a “Name the Team” contest for the Club’s AHL affiliate in Tucson. Fans submitted names for the team on the Coyotes’ website, www.arizonacoyotes.com/nameourAHLteam. The contest ran through May 31.  One lucky fan won two season tickets for the Tucson Roadrunners 2016-17 AHL regular season, and Tucson Roadrunners team jersey and a 12-person suite to a 2016-17 Arizona Coyotes regular season home game.
